Hello again people....

Yeah I reckon all of you are pissed cos it's been forever since I last
posted an entry, i've got a billion things to do at the moment so i've
got my hands tied mates....sincerely apologise on that account. Right now
i'm working on a couple of projects, namely a photo collection titled
'Perception and Surreality' in which I ought to be done with by mid-November.
Reeeally sorry for not doing scheduling any new shows during this period
(Trev's been caught up with work recently and we've also got to get our
equipment sorted out)....but we certainly promise you guys more shows in
the months that follow. Another piece of good news for all of ya is that the
acoustic/live album would be released earlier, probably sometime in December
so do look out fer it! Well then not much more I've got to say, so till then...

Cheerio!

Hey there,

I've got to conduct a bliddy workshop on music writing tomorrow
at Liquidfire and then help a band out with their EP (not exactly
thrilled about that prospect honestly) Just thought id take a
moment to reflect on the recent war between Israel and Lebanon.
It's great news that Israel and Lebanon have finally agreed to a
ceasefire and to stop fighting, but the amount of damage inflicted
on both sides and the number of lives lost as a result of insolence
and pointless violence is an issue being overshadowed by the truce
being agreed upon by both parties. And its because of this lack of
emphasis on a far more significant aspect on this issue that people
get the impression that the problem has been solved and everything's
fine. Take a look at this article

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5273486.stm

If the problem had been solved peacefully, this would not have happened.
It just comes to show that violence does not help and the underlying
problem remains to be solved. And if Bush had done something earlier
to stop the war, things would have been very different. Hope this gives
you guys something to think about.

I heard somewhere that if you had 10 million comments on your journal,
your dead relatives will come back to life.....so leave your comments
people =)

So, the last two shows we did were so awesome! Thanks to everyone who
came down to Liquidfire and.....the gashaus for the gig on the 9th, you
guys were fantastic. Wish I could have hung out with all of ya after
the gig, but we had a meeting with a label so we had to go =( But we
definitely would after our next gig at POW on the 18th, so you have my
word mates! Anyway we might have be recording a live acoustic session
some time in November for an acoustic cd that's slated for release
the following year (if we get the green light for it), so do feel free
to come down, it'll definitely be a great show. That's all for the moment
i suppose, see ya guys at POW.

Happy 9th of August ya'll!!

Went over to the Esplanade with Trev and a couple of mates
to catch Electrico play earlier, and I gotta tell ya they
were freakin great! Totally nailed it. Hope you guys will be
having some serious fun this national day, i know i will
anyways cos ill have the entire day to catch up on a few dvds
and spend some quality time on the xbox (almost never get the
time to do stuff like that anymore now that I've got to head
back to college) And probably cranking it with the guys at
Trev's basement for some practice so that ought to be funky.
Uhm and we're having a 'Red and White' National Day gig at the
Gashaus on the tomorrow so if you guys aren't too beat, come
join us! Venther will be there too, so don't miss it. Anyway
I've gotta go so until next time peeps.

Rock on!

If ever there were words to describe how this band feels to
not only be playing gigs in front of all you people, but to
also be with a new record we could say it with 2 words -
HELL YEAH!!!!!

We just want to start off and say thank you to all of our
dedicated fans because without you we would not have been
able to accomplish all we did. That being said, if you guys
still don't know, we have a new record out called AUDIOKARMA.

Just so all the hardcore Down Inc. fans know - the essence of
this new record is the bridge between humanity and music. Its
also a tribute to all of the stories and inspirations that all
of our fans gave us on the two years of touring. We would have
never been able to write this record without you; you are all
truly a gift! We have a new single called IN MY WAY from our
new album that we've just released so do check it out. Anyway
we have a gig at the Yishun Amphitheatre on Wednesday and an
acoustic show at Liquidfire Studios the day after, so come over
if you guys have the time. So until we meet again, ciao!

Ello' Ello to all,

Well firstly, i would like to thank all of you who saw us on tour (I
would give all of you a big hug, but i smell like a skunk at the moment...)
It was a shit load of fun and you guys were awesome so thanks again to all
of ya. If you didnt get to see us, we'll be throwing in all the stuff that
we got on cd along with our new single, so not to worry. Anyway, regarding
'In My Way', yeah it has been remixed so this version does sound way different
compared to the original. For those of you who would be goin for the acoustic
session, tix cost $10 instead of $8, (event coordinator was high on crack, do
apologise) so do take note. And we'll be havin a couple of gigs around town
sometime, details would be put up here or the webbie so check back soon....Right
then, so till next time, that's all for now...

Woe
Greetings,

Dont mean to write a blog entry on a sour note, but some shit's been
going on more than often that kinda irritates me, and i have to let
it loose. See if someone designates a time to be at a certain venue,
and if that person gets there an hour early, then it isnt my bloody
fault i dont do the same. If you arrive at the venue way earlier because
you've got no fuckin plans, than its your bloody problem that you
do. Second of all, if you have a problem with someone, you tell it to
their faces and not go round saying stuff behind their backs. Only
cowards and pricks talk behind the backs of others, so if you've got
something to say, tell it to them personally....
